AIMEE

Aimee is the owner and founder of Fruitdale Farm. She returned to her Ohio roots in 2016, after 15 years of living and working abroad, and purchased land in pursuit of her homesteading dreams. With a background in community organizing, permaculture, and organic gardening, much of her farming experience comes from her time spent in the tropics.

Aimee embraces a "work hard, play hard" ethos and loves the challenge of figuring things out on her own. She prides herself on her grit and resourcefulness and has a knack for salvaging materials and turning them into functional and artful structures around the farm.

Her passions include exploring nature, making and listening to music, sharing epic moments with friends, growing things, building things, cooking things, and learning things the hard way. She is also a yoga teacher and enjoys sharing her practice as part of a balanced and mindful life.

Aimee envisions Fruitdale Farm continuing to grow into a thriving, creative landscape that nourishes people, supports biodiversity, and celebrates the abundance of the natural world.

Seeking Farm Steward!

Currently seeking a rad individual or couple to help live on and steward this land! Aimee has been the sole caretaker from the very beginning, with the exception of seasonal farm volunteers via the WWOOF program. At this time, it is more of a work-exchange arrangement than a paid position but there is income potential, especially if you come with skills (Massage Therapist, Artist, Yoga Teacher, Crafter, Apothecary, Naturalist, Primitive Skills, etc). Please send a message for more information! :)
